This Privacy Policy explains what information Hipliz AI (operated by Hipliz Technologies) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Hipliz AI, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your username, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you sign up.

Assistant knowledge base: content you provide to train your assistant — website text we scrape at your request, files you upload, and notes you type in.

Conversation data: messages exchanged between your assistant and its visitors, including any images attached, which we log so you can review activity and improve your assistant's knowledge base.

Captured leads: if a visitor shares their name or contact details during a conversation, your assistant may record this so you can follow up with them.

Technical information: basic usage data such as login timestamps, used to keep the Service secure and functioning correctly.

2. How we use this information

• To operate and improve your AI assistant and the wider Service;
• To generate responses to visitor messages via our AI provider (see below);
• To show you analytics about how your assistant is being used;
• To communicate with you about your account or important updates;
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

3. Sharing with third parties

We use Google's Gemini API to generate your assistant's responses. When a visitor sends a message, the relevant knowledge base content and the message itself are sent to this provider to produce a reply. We don't sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and assistant data for as long as your account is active. Conversation logs and knowledge base content are retained to power your assistant's analytics and can be deleted by removing the relevant assistant from your dashboard, which permanently deletes its associated data.

5. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your knowledge base content and assistants at any time from your dashboard. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us — see the Contact section below.

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We don't currently use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Children's privacy

Hipliz AI is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page with an updated date.
